Amatitlán is a Guatemalan city and municipality located 27 km south of Guatemala City. It is known for its natural surroundings, its proximity to Lake Amatitlán, and its hot springs.

Antigua is a small city surrounded by volcanoes in southern Guatemala. It is famous for its Spanish colonial buildings, many of which were restored after the 1773 earthquake that ended Antigua's 200-year reign as Guatemala's colonial capital.
